سيلان اللعاب   ************************* في الحالة الطبيعية يتم إفراز حوالي لترين من اللعاب يوميآ،ولا يتم ملاحظة ذلك في الإنسان السليم لأنه يقوم بالبلع بشكل دائم. وإليك أهم الأسباب والإحتمالات التي تزيد من إفراز اللعاب : 1- إذا كان هناك بروز للأسنان الأمامية : فينفتح الفم أثناء النوم فيسيل اللعاب، وهذا يمكنك اكتشافه بنفسك . 2- التهاب الأسنان ونخورها (تسوسها) . 3- قد يتعلق الأمر بالأنف والجيوب الأنفية،مثل: الحساسية أوالتهابات الأنف،أو إلتهاب في اللوزتين مما يضطر الإنسان للتنفس من فمه دون أن يشعر أثناء النوم فيسيل اللعاب. 4- خلل في إفراز الغدد اللعابية في الفم بحيث يزيد إفرازها عن الطبيعي، وفي هذه الحالة عليك مراجعة طبيب الغدد الصماء لإعطائك العلاج المناسب. 5- وجود طفيليات بالأمعاء وهي التي تتسبب في خروج هذا اللعاب أثناء النوم ويترافق مع هذه الحالة إمساك وإنتفاخ وهنا يجب عمل تحليل براز للتأكد من عدم وجود طفيليات بالأمعاء . 6- ارتخاء في العضلات المحيطة بالفم بحيث إنها تتفتح تلقائيًّا بعد النوم ويسيل اللعاب وهذه الحالة خلقية يصعب علاجها . 7- القلق والإنفعال الشديد .

وافقت المفوضية الأوروبية على عقار جديد كاناكينوماب (Canakinumab) لمرضى الذين يعانون من الآم التهاب المفاصل. وقالت الشركة المصنعة أن الاتحاد الأوروبي قد وافق على العقار المعروف أيضا باسم (ACZ885) لمرضى التهاب المفاصل النقرسي الحاد الذي لا يمكن أن يستحمل خيارات العلاج الأخرى. كاناكينوماب (Canakinumab) الذي يعمل كحاصر لبروتين يسمى ببيتا انترلوكين -1 الذي يعرف بانه يزيد الالتهاب, هذا الدواء يباع لعلاج متلازمات كريوبيرين (Cryopyrin) المرتبطة الدورية , وهو اضطراب التهابي نادر. في عام 2011، رفضت المنظمات الصحية في الولايات المتحدة لهذا الدواء لاستخدامها في النقرس بسبب مخاوف حول الآثار الجانبية.

Beta blockers are a type of drug used to lower blood pressure and prevent abnormal heart rhythms. These properties may well account for the drugs' benefit for patients at risk for cardiac problems with surgery, the researchers said. Patients in the study had undergone one of several types of non-heart surgery: general, vascular, orthopedic, neurosurgery, chest, ear/nose/throat and urologic. Study shows a pill containing THC lasts longer and may be safer than smoking pot. A pill may work as well as a puff when it comes to using marijuana to treat pain, according to a small but carefully controlled new study.
